Save File Location:

• %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\SNKRX\

To edit the save file yourself, open state.txt with the game closed and change “new_game_plus” to the desired level. The intended max NG+ level is 5, but you can change this to e.g. 20 to allow the game to get even harder if desired.

Note: Replacing the save file will will affect your settings, so manual editing is recommended if you’re not new to the game.
